Applicant searching
A recruiter is much like a professional fisherman, he tries to fish out the fish that are closest to his needs. Over time the growing number of contacts in the database is the strength of this instrument and growing demands are placed on the search engine too.
A great strength in Atollon Fisherman´s search is the possibility to filter the search by 3 major options:
-
Search by predefined code lists – allowing candidates to capture the main skills without fear of ambiguous skills entry or mistyped characters.
-
Full text search in CVs – allowing the search of documents labeled as CV. With the designation as a CV it is possible to restrict the search.
-
Searching in the history of the tender – this can quickly reduce the initial search to ‘fresh’ candidates who were interviewed recently and are therefore available.
These criteria’s can be combined not only among themselves but can be used also with other criteria’s.
The CV type document:
As mentioned above the document can be labeled as a type of CV which is included in the search criteria according to ´Full text CV´. The advantage of this approach is the possibility to record documents of applicants in which the search is not desirable (eg. Contracts, completed questionnaires, etc.)
Of course there is still the possibility to change the type of file even after saving and include or exclude it for the search. If the document is inserted through the profile of the candidate it is automatically set to the type of CV.
